First slow down and put the credit card away. Ask a bunch of question here first. Like the man said buy once cry once.

Are you wondering what type of rail set up would fit your gun? Need to know gas-system length (carbine, mid, rifle) so it will fit behind your FSB. Is it a monolithic set up where the rails match the top of the upper, if it's a flat top? Then you'd probably have to remove your delta nut to install. If it's a drop-in rail system, the delta nut stays on. Basically, more info please ... and, yes, pics would def help in getting an answer to your "question."

Either way, though, welcome to the boards and enjoy your new gun. Peruse the FAQs, too, to learn lots of useful info.

I have never seen a 17 inch but more than likely its a 16 inch and your adding the flash suppressor... I like the Surerfire quad rail myself but I know centerfire and PK had some on sale.... It would be nice to see your gun and then we can answer your questions with more ease.....

A carbine length rail is what you need. A great choice would be  DD Omega rail LINK It will look like this

Google "Carbine Length Rail"....you don't have to spend that much.....some think unless you spend as much as possible your rifle won't shoot straight

Like he said.  My favorite is the DD Lite Rail on my Noveske Diplomat 7.5" (bottom), but I've also been happy in the past with a UTG Rail (top) for ~$60.

Some cheaper options are out there, but make sure the rail you order is Adams Arms Piston compatible.

A very good thing to do is make sure you have all the info on what you have with your rifle.  You can call the HIGH end places that sell these parts, and the support people can help you make sure things will fit.  Sometimes, especially with a build from all different companies (lower different than the upper, etc), it pays to spend that time on the 1-800 line and hear someone tell you things fit. Then GOGGLE the crap out of that brand and type.  Buy it on teh cheap, and put 'er together.

This site is superb too, but there are also MANY opinions that will start to surface about different parts.  Some are truly warranted, but some are just opinions - take 'em or leave 'em as with most forums.  Your rifle looks great, and I wish you all the luck with your purchases and modifications!

I just can't bring myself to call a company and cost them money by asking their people questions when I have no intention of buying anything from them.  Maybe I misunderstood you though?
