So I just started my first build and the only thing that I have so far is a BCM BFH Midlength 16". I just got it in today (Friday) and I ordered it Sunday night!! That is extremely fast service! I am very happy with the way it looks and its kinda cool too because they threw in a lot of goodies (see pic). This is going to be a slow build as I only have $200 per month to spend. For the rest of the build I'm looking at the following:

BCM Bolt Carrier Group and BCM charging handle (mid-size)

Spikes Tactical lower  (http://www.spikestactical.com/new/z/spikes-tactical-complete-lower-w-m4-stock-p-86.html)

Eventually I plan on removing the gas block and replacing it with a lower railed gas block to put on a set of Diamondhead combat sights
(http://www.diamondhead-usa.com/index.html)

Midwest Industries SS-Series Free Float Tube Handguard (http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/default.aspx?productNumber=2344114534)

Midwest Industries Handguard Cap (http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/default.aspx?productNumber=267262)

MagPul AFG Angled Forend Grip
(http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/default.aspx?productNumber=380749)

I believe I currently have the standard BCM A2X flash suppressor and would like to know if this can be taken off and whether or not I should replace with something better?

Please feel free to give your opinions on my upcoming build. If you think that my product choices are inferior then please let me know what you would substitute and why. I have an "unlimited" budget, but the more expensive an item is the longer I have to wait. I don't plan on being "done" with this build for at least 3 to 4 months......

Thanks!

***Things to note in photos: I forgot to put BCM's free hat they threw in with my upper

Also, why is it sooo hard to take a photo of such a sexy object?

Looks great! Reminds me when I got my BCM BFH 16" Lightweight upper. Just beware, I planned on stretching my build out for 3 to 4 months but it was finished in 1 month.

And you can just unscrew the flash suppressor from the end with a solid grip on it.
