I am beginning to get parts together to build a Bohica lower.  Does anyone have any experience with Bohnica lower builds?

You have a couple considerations.  (I have a 30" Bohica BTW),  You want dedicated, or your probably going to have to modify the bolt catch to make it work, I would leave it off and have a lower just for your 50.  You probably do not want to bother buying a LPK, just buy the individual parts you need.  You will want a palm grip,a grip with a palm rest. You probably want YHM EZ Pull studs, you will be taking it apart often to clean, etc.  Trigger is the tricky part with the need for a nice pull vs need to set off primers.  Jard non-adjustable "heavy hammer" version is suppost to reliable.  RRA 2 stage also said to work (sometimes requires removing some material from top of hammer. Some people are fine with stock hammers (most hammers are knotched and require you remove some material fromtop) and Wolf extra power hammer springs.  Mine has a bill springfield modified one with the heavier wolf spring and while it works most of the time for me,I have friends that apear to pull the trigger slower and get light primer strikes more often.  You may already know this, but if you have light primer strike on 50bmg you keep bolt closed and wait (covered in manuel), they can delay fire and cause major injury. Jard has the heavy hammer version just for ARs that shoots surplus rounds, but even a heavy jard is lighter than a stock hammer, and for some reason it and RRA (also lighter) fire surplus hammers at a higher rate than OEM setup.

Yep.
I bought and built up an aluminum BOHICA single shot lower for my 30" BOHICA upper, it was pretty simple.
I used a Jard heavy hammer because I was having troubles touching off my reloads, I haven't had a problem since installing the Jard.
The BOHICA single shot lower of course doesn't have the magazine release or bolt catch.
