[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Buffer for midlength build

I am completing my first build. I am going with a mid-length gas system. I have a Rock River Arms rifle length A2 stock, buffer, tube, and spring I was planning to use. Is this okay or should I look for a mid-length buffer, tube, and spring? Thank you.

There is no such thing as a mid length tube/buffer/spring. I have a H2 in my mid length and it works great although many run theirs with standard carbine buffers.

The standard A2 setup you chose will work fine on a middy build ... it works just fine on my 18" middy build ... but like CPD363 many run carbine setups.
