I ordered a Geissele ssa trigger earlier today to kinda kick start my lower build. I have decided I want to put anti rotation / anti walk pins on the trigger. On the order sheet from midway usa it says "Geissele Super Semi Automatic Trigger Ar-15, LR-308 small pin .154'' two stage matte"

my question is, what exactly is the LR-308?

Just to clarify, when I order the anti rotation pins I need to get them in .154'' correct?

I have a stripped RRA lower, and also ordered the LPK minus the trigger, am I going to run into any problems?

I was thinking about it at work tonight and I'm kinda afraid I might have screwed up

Skip the anti rotation pins, you are just wasting your money. The LR 308 is the DPMS .308 cal AR platform. Sorta like the AR10.

I agree, not really needed.  Trigger pin walk is associated with high volume of fire.

Giessele recommends that you do not use them with their triggers. You will not get the full benefit of that trigger if you do.

Alright, so I wont get the anti rotation pins, but this trigger will still fit into my RRA 5.56 lower right?

I ordered the mil spec lower parts kit from RRA, will the trigger and hammer pin still fit into the trigger?

You'll want to use the pins that come with the Giessele trigger.

I have the pins in my lowers, but I used them because they seem to tighten up my stock triggers just a little.  Other than preference, they're totally unnecessary unless you have a full auto lower that is irreplaceable and worth $15000+.  If Geisselle says not to use them, then believe what they say.
