I know you can not legaly sell an 80% build; but can you legaly give one to your brother for Christmas?

You can sell homebuilt firearms if you did not build them with the INTENTION of selling them. Whether or not you make a profit is irrelevant. You should have no problem giving one to your brother, but it would put some form of identification on the lower (serial number, initials, whatever) I usually punch or engrave some info under the grip on the side, so it's hidden unless you need to see it... |
