[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need help with handguard

Just got a handguard (looks like the picture in the link below) and am wondering if I can add a Harris bipod to it and if so, how?

Also, can I add a picatinny rail to one of the slots.

Thanks for your help.

It's a doublestar, but the slots just like this. There are no holes, just slots all the way around.

Try getting some of the threaded back plates and rails from the JP V-Tac. It looks like the slots are similar. They may fit. Use the back plate and a sling stud to attach the bipod.

JP, Troy and Apex all make an adapter for adding a swivel stud to a slot.
Probably others too.
