This is my first build and I am using a RRA LPK on a Spikes Tactical Lower.
Problem is: The magazines are super hard to push into place (the lower is in spec because all mags drop free).  The magazine catch is really hard to depress just by inserting a magazine and takes a hard bump to the bottom to seat it properly.  I already dremeled and polished the bottom of the catch thinking that was the problem but that didn't help much. (Pmags are easier to push in than some old Colt pre-ban 20 and 30 rd mags.  The catch actually scrapes the outside of the Colt mags pretty bad)

On my Colt AR-15 you can put your finger in the mag well and depress the catch from inside pretty easily and mags in that rifle silde in and out like a greased pig.  But on my new build you cant depress the catch from inside the well with your finger without pushing the catch button on the outside.  It feels like it is sticking somehow.

Should I just get a new mag catch? Or has anyone had this problem and know how to fix it?  -Thanks A.Wall

I have had a couple that were a little "sticky" but never had to replace one because of it .. YMMV.  I found that some lube (CLP or whatever you use) and working it in and out a bunch of times usually solves the problem ... I did have to remove one that was really bad and run some 1000 grit sand paper over the edges of the whole assembly and that seemed to solve the issue with it ... again YMMV.
