I use the DPMS multi-tool

and Brownells upper receiver block.

I also use the DPMS multi-tool.  For the blocks, I just use a couple of 2x4's or plywood in the vise.  Never had a problem.  The plywood works a little better because it doesn't "give" so much.

I use the DPMS tool and the action clamp from Bushmaster.

I got one called a block-worx off of gunbroker which is a two piece kit  One piece slides onto the upper receiver A4 rail and the other part links to the take down holes. I think that this mounting system exposes the receiver to less torque than one that mounts only at the base of the receiver.

As for multitools, I got nothing.

I use this upper receiver block.  The clamshell may or may not work because of different receiver designs on the exterior.  Interior must remain the same, and I've put 60ft-lbs on barrel nuts (Grendel barrel) with it.  It didn't give up for a second.

I also prefer this barrel nut wrench.  It takes 1/2 and 3/8 drive torque wrenches.
