INSTALLATION OF OPS INC.12th MODEL BARREL SLEEVE AND MUZZLE BRAKE(MB)

- Degrease the barrel thread using a solvent or alcohol
- The barrel sleeve is a cylindrical part that has a set screw at the rear portion and a 20 degree taper for the alignment of the MB to the rifle barrel. Slide the barrel sleeve onto the barrel until the inside step of the sleeve contacts the step at the forward part of the barrel. Place a drop of Rocksett on the area under the sleeve and the set screw and tighten the set screw.
- Slide the supplied "crush washer" on the thread portion of the barrel with the LARGE diameter(concave shaped)portion of the crush washer forward towards the end of the muzzle. Place a few drops of Rocksett on the barrel thread and screw the MB hand tight until it contacts the crush washer. Tighten the MB a MINIMUM OF 90 DEGREES(1/4 turn)but NO MORE THAN 450 DEGREES until the top of the MB(small web) is at the TOP of the barrel. Use a 10" Crescent type adjustable wrench placed on the top and bottom webs when tightening.
- DO NOT USE ANY OBJECT PLACED BETWEEN THE WEBS TO TIGHTEN THE MB.
- Before firing the gun allow 12hrs.time for the Rocksett to harden. If Rocksett is not available, high temperature Loctite may be used but not as effectively as the Rocksett.
- REMEMBER THE SMALL MUZZLE BRAKE(MB)WEB IS AT THE TOP OF THE MB

These were the instructions supplied with mine. Very easy, 10 minute process.
