I currently have a 16" carbine with collapsible stock. If I switch to A2 stock, what buffer and spring should I use? Thanks

Use a rifle buffer and spring with an A2 stock.

Stock choice determins what reciver extension, buffer and recoil spring to use, not barrel length.
