Hey guys. Im about to buy a buffer tube assembly.. I got a question
Is there any difference in this kit from palmetto and this kit from LaRue besides price. How much, if any, is the difference in quality. Thanks for the help.. as im trying to save as much as I can on this build.. Good Day, Stephen S. |

That Larue kit looks like it's got a upgraded buffer spring which reduces felt recoil. Not worth the $30 extra though.
Something to be said about brand loyalty, and I do like Larue's stuff. But $70 for a buffer tube kit seems excessive. I use a cheapo DSA kit I got on aimsurplus for $30 and it's never failed me yet. And that's after 1500 rounds and counting... |

I am a proud supporter of LaRue, dont get me wrong.. gonna build an spr with their 18" stealth next. Just figured i'd save a few bucks going this way |

. The Larue has upgraded parts, while the dsa is bare minimum. If you want a cheap build go dsa, if you want quality go Larue...
