hey im looking to build my first AR15 and im looking at a CAV arms lower for 85 is this a good deal... or is there any way i can get a good lower for the cheapest possible...im open to all options..

I don't know about Cav lowers but the price is good. Just examine it carefully for any defects.

As far as finding 'cheap' parts for a build it can be difficult in todays environment of everyone wants one.

You check LAR Grizzely for second's on their upper receivers(stripped). They sell their uppers that have cosmetic defects for a song. I bought 3 for 35 to 40 bucks each a couple of years ago.

The main thing  is to not go cheap on the barrel, bolt and bolt carrier. You might also add in the trigger group.

i would rather buy the upper assembled or atleast with barrel and gas system installed...i just dont want to mess anything up as this will be my first AR15

Cav arms lower integrates the stock (A1 length, bit shorter than A2) and grip and is polymer...  that is a good price for a Cav Arms lower and a good price to start a build, but you have no options for stock or grip, they are integral.

but can i get that plus a solid stock (doesnt matter weather fixed or collapsible) and a comfortable grip for 85 plus the transfer fees
