I want to remove the A2 from a S&W M&P. Which direction to remove old unit? Clockwise or counter?

Hold the flash hider stationary and move the rifle counter clockwise. If you are in Australia, I think this rotates the other way.

Sounds a little like how the Irish screw in a light bulb. One holds the bulb, and the rest drink until the room starts spinning.
