So I'm gonna start on an M16 style AR to replicate the M16A4 I had my second deployment. But I've got a bit of a problem.
The receivers on my first build are from Essential Arms (great company BTW). But they don't make barrels so my opptions are

1. EA lower and upper and pick a 20" barrel like last time

2. EA lower and hope a pre-assembled upper from someone else fits

3. Go with a different company for receivers that makes all parts needed

Now EA makes or has just about everything a typical AR would need, just not the barrel. I'm iffy as it is about going to another company
because of prices, this will be close to a $2000 +/- build over time and EA has great inexpensive receivers.
Anyone have any thoughts? I'm not lookin for high end stuff like Larue and POF, just a simple M16 look to replicate my old one.
The most expensive part will be the Trijicon RCO, hence where the $2000 +/- price tag comes in.

Purchase what you want.
If they don't fit one is out of tolerance.

I have two EA lowers. The only upper I have that fits tight on them is a Model 1 Sales, but then it's tight on all my lowers.

The Bravo Company USA upper would work well on your EA lower.
