[ARCHIVED THREAD] - AFG Not Fitting

Has anyone had a problem putting a Magpul AFG on a Spikes Bar Rail. It seems to slide on about halfway then hits the plastic as it curves upwards. Was going to use the dremel but wanted to hear some feedback if possible. Thanks in advance.

Did you take the screw out of it and loosen the two bolts? The middle screw has to come all the way out.

common problem with the AFG-1

i have the same problem on an LT rail with XTM panels on the sides, since the BAR is about the same width as that setup, i'd expect to have some issues.

either dremel the AFG1 "wings"
or
wait for the AFG2

Middle screw is out completely and yes its the wings that are hitting. I guess dremel it is.
