any reason you are looking at an enhanced LPK other than the standard LPK?
just buy a quality LPK (stag, daniel defense, colt if you got that kind of money) and you should be good to go.

tools: small hammer, punch set, center punch(to stake your castle nut), castle nut wrench, screwdriver or long allen wrench(depending on what pistol grip screw comes with your LPK).

buffer tube assemblies can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.
did you already purchase the MOE stock? did you get a mil-spec diameter or commercial diameter stock?
mil-spec? look no further:

i don't run the ASAP mount but i do run the M2S sling.
many guys cut the chain link off of the ASAP and run their slings off the actual mount.
also, i'm not sure if you can have the stock fully collapsed when you have the sling mounted. (cuz i dont run one)

i hope i helped.
good luck with your build!

ETA: when it comes time to buy an upper, check out the link i posted above. they got a summer sale on their uppers. they also make the best bolts in the business right now. great deals right now, great time to build an AR!

thanks, I was looking at that due to the spikes upgraded trigger (which had been recommended to me), plus I want to have the enhanced trigger guard, etc...   i actually see the DD does come with the enhanced trigger guard so i may take a look

And i have seen the Bravo Company sale, right now ill hopefully get the upper around christmas (I dont have much time to shoot it until then with school so its all good),  Which is better the DD Omega or Lite?  I want a 16", and i noticed they have the 1/8 twist lower on the page as opposed to the 1/7, which is better?

the lite rail with require the front sight base to be removed.
the omega rail drops in.

1/7 is fine for me, but i built a fighting carbine.
1/8 is usually reserved for match type barrels.

Have you seen the enhanced LPK? It has a great single stage trigger, a great grip, KNS pins, spiral roll pins, and an Ambi selector. Call me crazy but I think that is better than the DD LPK. I'm not trying to be rude here, just saying. The ELPK is a great deal!!

i'm not really impressed with this LPK.
what advantage does this nickle boron coating give? you should still grease the contact points on the FCG.
i really don't like the ergo grip.
kns pins are useful for auto guns, but if the FCG is installed correctly, the pins won't walk out.
actual roll pins and an ambi-selector are the only pluses in my opinion.
but it's just my opinion.
if this is what you want, and it works for you, then i'd say spike's stuff is GTG.
i tend not to be attracted to all the bells and whistles.
i've built using DPMS, M&A parts, and DD LPKs. by far the DD had the nicest trigger. DPMS had the worst.
YMMV.

Yes it rattles...and it can be a PIA to install-dang little parts.

Go here for a non rattling answer.  Plus a member of the GA HTF makes it & sells it for $20 to your door.

I also run the slap plate along with the EMDOM Gunslinger sling. I can't fully collapse my Magpul ACS stock with it but that's no big deal as I run it on the first slot anyway.
