A big thank you to this forum for the howtos and examples.

Obviously needs some optics, BUIS, sling, a couple more mags (stuck with 10-rounders here thanks to California, and I only have 4 to share between this one and the supersass) ... a couple more cases of ammo ... and a range longer than the 100 yard one down the road. The can has to stay in a neighboring free state with my brother. (Thanks again, California.) But it'll just be an excuse to go visit him and shoot up the desert. Not sure I like the stainless picatinny gas block, and I was surprised that the flash hider/adapter is gray rather than black. Both look a little odd but as this will be a shoot-the-hell-outta gun and not a look-pretty gun, maybe I'll just smear mud on it for a more uniform color. I'm torn between a TA11 ACOG or something more precise to better stretch its legs. (I know the ARFCOM answer to that dilemma.) |
