I have a Magpul PRS AR15 stock on order, I know that I will be needing a rifle tube to install this. At Brownell's they have the A1 and A2 completion kits. Respectfully asking for an advise on which one to order. Thank you in advance...

I don't have first hand knowledge, but as far as I can tell the PRS mounts without the use of the A2 spacer –– therefore the A1 kit will have everything you need.

99.99999999999999999% sure mine is a A2.

A1 is a little shorter, I don't think that's what you want.

May want to wait for someone else who is sure though.

A1 kit is what you need. The PRS does not use the spacer.

I think the only difference between the two kits is the stock spacer and length of the screw for the buffer tube.

For what it's worth, I ordered this kit direct from Stag for $32. Unless you're getting the discount at Brownell's it might save you a couple bucks. Got mine in three days. They did beat me up a little on shipping though.

It doesn't matter which one you order. The A1 and A2 stocks use the same rifle extension. The PRS comes with the proper mounting screw.

If you order the A2 you just get a spacer and long screw in your extra parts bin.

"The PRS™ mounts to rifles using the M16 Rifle Receiver Extension (Buffer Tube) without M16A2 spacer. All
mounting hardware is included."
