| I broke my lower trying to put an after market trigger guard on. Can I get a new one. and what do I do with the old one, This is my second one I have broken,Duzz this matter. Please Help. Thanks Hitman. |

Did you break one of the 'ears' that hold the trigger guard on the grip side?
If so I beleive magpul makes a grip with the trigger guard pin molded in to replace the 'ears'. Otherwise not having the trigger guard should not hamper the function of the lower other than being a safety iss for the trigger. |

2 this is certainly an expensive lesson you learned.
You need to support the ears of the lower with wood or something similar as a brace. You can just keep all the damaged lowers no real need to dispose of them in my opinion. Use them as further training tools. Do post some pictures of those lowers to see what really happened to them and to see where they broke. |

Thanks Hitman. You can get as many new ones as you like but you have to buy them. Just cut the other ones up with a band saw. |

Fantomas has given you some good solid advice hitman48. I've assembled 8 lowers & have never broken a trigger guard "ear" mount using a block of wood as a support. (Knock on wood. |
| I was hesitant at first building my ars and hearing about people busting ears, well i just read alot and decided to use a pair of vise grips with tape, the stupid roll pin still ate through all my tape and i scraped a little paint on the bolt release roll pin boss but i didn't break anything on either lower, just take your time. |
