Ok I know what all I am going to put on my AR, from free float tube, forward grip, and BUIS. The only thing I cant figure is what type of scope I want, first I was gonna get a 4 power scope with mil dots, and then mount a mini red dot at a 45 of that for close range, but if I did that then the BUIS would be of no use. So I decided I wanted to try just a red dot scope, know which scope do I get. I cant justify paying much more than $150 for a scope, just gonna use for hog hunting and deer hunting. I like the way the BSA sts30rgbll look, and I have a BSA scope on other guns and never have had any problems, but have heard that they have had problems with the spiral type lens covers.  The perfect scope would be one no longer than approx. 7in, 1x to 4x power, with some type of mil dot or BDC type redical. I hope somebody could give me some ideas or point me to something i have not seen or overlooked.

If you don't want it longer than 7" it doesn't exist in that price range.  For $200 you could get a Millet DMS-1 which is 1-4x and it has an illuminated reticle(nice for hunting), but not BDC or Mil-dot.  Not the lightest scope but decent glass for the money.  I had one for a short time and it worked well.

As for red dots, check out Primary Arms.  They have Aimpoint clones and magnifiers which might be a good option for you and at pretty low prices.

Hope this helps some.

Lots of people bauk when I mention this scope on this forum.  But, the Centerpoint 4 - 16 x 40 that they sell at Walmart for 70 bucks is a pretty good scope for the money.  Better than BSA.  If you go to snipers hide, they actually have been giving this scope pretty good reviews.  Keep in mind it's only a 70 dollar scope.  But, I have been hunting with one on my Remington 700 7mm Magnum for over three years now.  It holds zero really well.  They do have an occasional dude.  If you notice that it's messed up, take it right back and change it out for a new one.  Centerpoint is made by Crossman (the BB gun guys) and it's made in America.

If your looking for a nice, Aimpoint style red dot, Vortex Strikefire is a really good optic.  It's about 120 bucks, but well worth it.  And, they have great warranty and good customer service.

The Pitbull from VALDADA is exactly what I am looking for, however the price tag is way to high. I was hoping someone would know of a company that makes one similar but cheaper.
