dont know which one i should get. any reccomendations?

Either will do you fine, but the general consensus is that a mid-length gas system will run a touch smoother on a 16" barrel.* Plus, it appears to be $20 cheaper. The mid-length has a heavy-profile barrel, so it's liable to be a little heavier, though.
* Before the inevitable shitstorm begins, I (and many, many others) have a carbine-length 16" and it runs like a top. |
