[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Stock, buffer tube question

Newbe question here, I'm having trouble getting the buttstock to slide on the buffer tube. I press the adjustment lever but it won't get to the adjustment range section. It feels like the detent pin won't go over the end of travel stop at max extension position. Thanks, Jim.

Most stocks you need to pull on the adjustment lever, that should get it up high enough to clear.

Pull down on lever, it will then slide off.
