What are some of the more popular midlength handguards? I'm only looking for basic handguards.

Thanks

+1 - Cav Arms C8's are the way to go IMO

I have the C8's. They have worked great on my BCM. I was going to wait for the MOE's but then decided that I wanted to shoot my rifle and not wait a year for them to come out. Got the C8's from Talon Arms a while back. About $20 if I remember correctly.

Same here. The C8s are tapered and very nice. To the OP.....Cav arms also has the fat kind if you don't like the tapered

Are the CA tapered ones the same diameter as A2 carbine handguards?  The pics make them look larger.

Thanks!  A2 HGs are perfect for me, these look like the way to go for a build I'm planning (14.5" A1 midlength.)
