[ARCHIVED THREAD] - I need help with a comp issue

I put on a YHM comp tonight, and, with the crush washer, the comp tightens up exactly 180 degrees from the correct orientation ( the holes are pointed down). What can I do to remedy this?

Keep turning it until you run out of crush. If it flatens out before you reach the desired position try another new washer. If that fails you may have to use a peel washer or machine a few thousandths off the back of the comp.

You can try taking a file, or, if you have one, a grinder or belt sander, and shave off a little from the back of your crush washer (the end that faces towards the breech).
