I like the looks of this barrel and the price is pretty decent. It isn't as heavy as my 20" varmint. I kind of like the way the muzzle break flows and think there is some potential to make a pretty bad ass looking upper out of it. I was wondering what other goodies you would put with it to make a one of a kind upper. I'm thinking some type of FF type upper, but not sure which one. Any other ideas considered. I realize this is kind of an open ended question, so I"ll take open ended answers. Thanks in advance.

Dumb question I know, but this is a 16" carbine length barrel. The Mega Mono shown is a mid length. If I get the carbine length Mega Mono then the gas block is exposed and it is covered it I get the mid length? I have only bought an upper in the past, so I'm learning.
