Went to install the snap ring today and it flew off. I cannot find it any where.
Can things be found at a hardware store and if so what size do I ask for, or where can I buy just the snap ring?
Thanks

Common term is an "E clip".  Common term here is "Flea".  You know why.
I've read that NAPA has them.  Probably won't find AR in their computer

As a matter of fact I just lost my e-clip the other day, so I ordered several more from Brownell's - I think they were 0.35 each.  Luckily I had a spare used receiver that I could cannibalize for parts.  While I was at it I ordered a few other spare parts - firing pin retainers, firing pin, gas tube roll pins, etc. just to make the shipping worthwhile.
