Depending on what type of pc......check the bake temp.....make sure your oven can do it.
Also.....the fumes can be a bit "blah"......be able to vent well. Check your temp with a stand alone oven thermometer....don't believe the dial on the oven. Build your racks well ahead of time....check clearence in oven...and contact points of hangers. For the cost of the kit.....as long as you prep it.......you can get a pro pc job done.....look in yellow pgs.....but in the end...you wont have the equipment. check the prep spec on the powder.....should tell what type of media to blast with to get correct tooth for adhesion. Good luck.....it is a nice finish.... |

Check Eastwood Supply, they sell kits and dozens of colors. The aftermarket auto color scheme tends to run explicit, fine if you want Hello Kitty Pink or DeWalt Yellow. Good luck on FDE or Foliage.
DON'T use a home oven, the fumes stick forever, and your roasts will taste like plastic. It takes a dedicated oven with accurate temp control, test it before hand to see what the dial reads vs. a thermometer. If it's plus or minus 25 degress and consistent, you're doing good. Most powder coating seems to be doing better in hot applications than twenty years ago, but high heat will discolor and ruin it. It's just a melted polymer after all. |
