I'm installing a Noveske KX3 Flash supressor on my new build and want to be sure I put it on properly.  Can anyone tell me where the "wire Cutting" grooves" on the end should be indexed to.  I looked at several pics on here and most look to be about 45 degrees to the rifle but when mine is at 45 degrees the logos are not lined up.  I know it doesn't sound like a big deal but it looks like its not on correctly when the logos are at almost 12:00 and 6:00.

That's not the problem.  I'm using the supplied crush washer.  What I'm asking is should the notches on the end of the KX3 be at 45 degrees or does it matter at all.  Right now I have the logos lined up and that puts the notches at about 1.00 and 7:00.  So whats the correct way?  Ignore the logos or ignore the notches?

I would do it like this: (ignore logos and put the notches at 3 and 9 o clock)

No, it doesn't matter where they line up. The KX3 doesn't need to be indexed.

I'd like to see it cut some wire....i'm thinking that the notches have more to do with the cone retention spring than with any cutting tool ideas...

I've done it. It works.

It doesnt NEED to be indexed, but I set mine up like shown about. 3 and 9

agreed, but its a lot easier to walk up and put the rifle on a wire when its perpendicular like yours

Judging from pics on Noveske's web site it looks like they line up the logos and don't worry about the grooves.  Some have the grooves lined up horizontal, some around 45 degrees and some almost vertical(like  mine).  Seems kinda retarded to me that the KX3 is not made more consistently. Directions just say torque to 30 ft lbs but I'm OCD about stuff being straight.
