I have a car buffer which is big bigger in diameter then a normal one and much heavier. The one on the left is the one in question. It measures .779 o.d and is .3240 long. The one on the right is .6825 o.d and is .3235 long.
I'm trying to figure out what this would be for, because the last time I used this it got stuck in the buffer spring and the bolt wouldn't come all the way back. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Frank |

Excpet for yours being one-piece it looks a lot like one of these:
