Does anyone make one? I'm not looking for an A1. I want to run A2 sights, but don't want forward assist, case deflector and definitely not a flat-top.

Make? Not exactly. You'd have to order a RRA 9mm A2 upper from ADCO and then have them drill the hole for the gas tube. You'd just have to replace the dust cover.

How is the case deflector attached on those? Is it partially covering a normal sized ejection port?

No, it's a shortened port door.

The 9mm case deflector and short port door can be removed and replaced with a standard port door.

Model 1 has 9mm A2 uppers also...

Here's a Model 1 9mm flattop upper modified for a gas tube. Same results could be had with a 9mm A2 upper.

or you can put a removeable carry handle on the same upper to get the A2 sights.

Model 1 looks like it'll save me a few bucks. This will probably be the way I end up doing this. Thanks guys.

Checked on ADCO, $30 to make a gas tube hole. That's a very reasonable price to me. I'll probably go this route.

The carry handle sight is NOT exactly the same as the A2 sight. The ranges are different, at least the max range.
