I am going to be installing a YHM Diamond Specter FF, will a GI barrel wrench work?

yes. that's what i've used to install 3 different YHM FF tubes.
for the jam nut i just used a brass punch and hammer to tighten it up. you also might want to find something to keep the FF rail lined up with the upper while tightening the jam nut. i used a detachable carry handle. if you don't have that you could probably use a length of 1" dowel rod and some scope rings if you've got any laying around. |
