I finally got my AR finished after returning from Iraq earlier this month. I went with something a bit different from the current "M-4" mania. Its a Dissipator carbine which I have always liked.

Specifications:

Superior Arms lower
DPMS internals
Flat top upper W/ 16" barrel, RRA style rear sight
Early Vortex open end flash suppressor
6 position TAPCO stock
Full length handguards
Knight Armament forward grip
Surefire M950 weapon light w/ IR filter

I have not shot her yet but she promises to be a nice one. Future plans include a quad rail set and some sort of optics (Aimpoint or a scope) but she will do well in the current configuration. Would like to get a Knight Armament rail system like I carried in the sandbox but those are a bit pricey these days.

What do you guys think?

Like it alot!! Not sure if the sling will hold up mounted like that, I have melted alot of stuff in my time setting my gun on bags etc.. Looks good though, and thanks for your service.
