Hello All,

First of all I have done quite a bit of research and I am aware that there are a number of similiar threads. Anyway, I have already aquired my first stripped lower and I was thinking about completeing it with a RRA LPK (with ERGO grip) and a Magpul CTR kit.  Does this sounds like a good start or do you folks have any advice to offer?

I greatly appreciate the help!!

That sounds like a great start to me.  I went with the RRA LPK also, but I didn't get the hogue grip upgrade, which I wish I had.

Sounds like you are on your way. Just remember to be careful when tapping in the bolt-catch roll pin, mask off the receiver around that area to prevent marring or scratches...support the 'ears' when tapping in the roll pin for the trigger guard, not the receiver. You will notice the ears step down from the leading edge of the receiver, thats where it needs to be supported. If you are careless you can snap one of the ears off..

And remember, a Bill Springfield trigger job is a lot cheaper than any fancy triggers, and 90% as effective...

Word.  Mr. Springfield's work is fantastic.  I'd recommend his triggers to anyone.

I like the KNS pins. Not necessary but beefy.
