One AR I recently put together runs a new 5 pos. receiver extension, H1 buffer, & buffer spring from BCM, CL M16 BCG marked CM or CMT, and a Sabre Defense 14.5in mid-length barrel.
How do you all feel about that gas-system/barrel length/BGC/buffer combo? Can anyone spot any possible flaws this combo may have, or anything I should change? I was shooting this upper a few weeks ago, only it was on a 4 position receiver extension with a spring that may have been a little old and a regular carbine buffer. No malfunctions but the brass(steel 62 grain wolf) was ejecting backwards and landing around the shooters 4 oclock... I didn't think this was normal. Should I expect any changes now that I am running a new spring and buffer combo? Thanks for the help, learned a bunch hanging around here, hope to learn some more. |
