| Can the Magpul polymer front sight be used on a steel gas block or will it get too hot for the plastic? My railed YHM gas block is too low for this sight but I was going to use one of their aluminum risers to align the front with the rear Magpul polymer on my flat top. |

I use the YHM gas block riser with the Magpul BUS on my 458 Socom and it works fine but.... I usually don't shoot more than 20 - 40 rounds max per range session. |
