I ordered a DSA complete upper today:
DSA ZM4 16" And got this email: "We are currently shipping AR15 Uppers daily. Due to the popularity of this item it may take a few more days for your order to ship. We are processing the upper orders as quickly as we can. Sorry for the delay." So I take it they are back ordered, I thought that whole thing was in the past!! Anyone order from them recently? Any personal experience with the turn around time for uppers? |

I also ordered an upper recently, Dec. 31st. Along with the upper I ordered a BCG and CH, both of which I think are also backordered.
The woman, Jessica I believe, said the $275 upperss are 3 weeks out because of the process of making the barrels. Hopefully I'll get my stuff before the end of the month. I'm eager to put this DSA stuff to the test |

Maybe, but this is what I decided on because i wanted to use the BCM BCG with it & because it sounds like a sweet deal.
Ordered that today as well but no word on either. Total for the Upper plus the BCM BCG & Charging handle was $461 after shipping. Cant beat that. Plus im sold on the Nitride being just as effective as chrome. BTW EKKsoldier622, im with you on the eagerness! |

I had sent them an email asking about the carbine two weeks ago, and they told me the same thing (3-4 weeks out). However, they said that the mid-lengths are in stock
DSA Mid-length Note that the barrel is fluted, in case that matters to you. It's the same deal, nitrided barrel, no BCG or CH, just fluted and mid-length...and $25 more. I ordered one today, so I'll see what the shipping deal is with those. |

Just FYI... I ordered the $275 upper on 12/7, and just received an email stating that status had changed. A quick look on the webpage shows a UPS tracking number, but it hasn't been picked up yet... so I'll assume it will actually ship out tomorrow or the next day. So... six weeks?
Wasn't in a rush. Price was right, and should be worth the wait. |
