I am currently in the midst of PROJECT: White Trash (PWT). PWT is the hunt for an accurate, free-floated, AR15 that can be used for target competition. However, it has to be ludicrously cheap. Here is the status of PWT. Barrel: Nasty looking "in the white" 1/8 barrel that has been spray painted with "BBQ Black" enamel. This barrel was selected for PWT by Robert and Krista from www.rbprecision.com from the deep dark and dank corners of their workshop. For those who do not know, RB Precision is a wonderful vendor and I am a big fan. Upper: Don't have one yet. Looking for a beat-to-shit flattop upper that will do the job for an absurdly low price. Free An electric blue free float tube, also from RB Precision. It was a sample and was donated to PWT. Scope: Osprey International for $180 from the fun show. Includes rings. Lower: Major Blem lower that is still functional. $70 LPK: DPMS bought for $59 from a funshow. Stock: $29 from the funshow. Bolt/Carrier: Still needed. If you have one, let me know. Charging Handle: Still Needed. Have one cheap? Let me know. I will update as PWT becomes reality. If you have a beat to hell upper that will work, let me know. I'm also on the hunt for the bolt/carrier and charging handle. The total budget for this gun is $600...everything included. |
