[ARCHIVED THREAD] - bushmaster muzzle brake

Hello Gents,
Is this muzzle brake pressed on or screwed on? If its pressed on are there threads to mount another style of brake on the barrel? The brake appears to be a AK style one that bushmaster put on from the factory.

pinned and welded over.

Look under it at the 6pm position, you will see a small weld over a pin. Possibly one at the 12 oclock position too

Thanks for the info. I guess bushmaster does not want you to modify the muzzle brake on this barrel. This sucks!

It looks like it's a post ban gun. The brake has to be permanently affixed.

it also might be a 14.5" barrel
