[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Recommend BCG for Build

Well I'm finally moving further with my build. Currently has:

CMMG Stripped Lower
RRA LPK
Hogue Grip
Magpul CTR Mil-Spec
KNK Pins

I'm going to pick up a CMMG A3 upper with M4 feed ramps, and a BCM Gunfighter Charging Handle, and am unsure which bolt carrier group to use. I want to use a good quality BCG, without going apeshit on price, a M16 bcg is for me, So far the only real names I've heard so far is Youngs Manuf., other than that I'm not sure who's to use... Who do you recommend and why? Thanks

Lots of post about BCG's in the various forums here, lots of info, opinions, and testimony to their performance.

I chose BCM for my new build, figured it would go well with a BCM middy upper. Youngs/Spikes get good reviews and you won't go wrong with them.

Frankly, unless you can get a good deal on that CMMG upper, the Spikes complete upper for $600 is a great deal. Hammer forged barrel and complete M16 BCG. Good choice, though, with the charging handle.

Why not just get the BCM with the charging handel? BCM Makes top notch stuff. You should take a look at their uppers as well.
