[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Bolt Catch or Disconnecter Spring?

I'm about to tackle my first LPK assembly on a stripped lower.

I'm sure this will be the first of many questions.

Is the disconnecter spring the tapered one? It looks almost identical to the bolt catch spring. I don't want to confuse the two.

Can some one confirm please?

yes, disconector spring has one end with a larger diameter than the other. Bolt catch spring has the same diameter at both ends.

Yes tapered is the disconnector and the larger end pushes into the trigger if I remember right.
