I was wondering if its worth getting a post ban barrel threaded to attach a muzzle break or would it be cheaper to buy a whole new upper reciever? Its DPMS barrel with a 1/9 twist and is chambered in 5.56/.223 if that helps. Sorry if this seems like a dumb question but I was raised around guns but haven't gotten into the technical parts of it until recently.

ADCO charges $65 IIRC, plus the shipping back and forth.

It's at least $100 cheaper than one you could buy but... you can always build another!

ETA: Oh and welcome!

Thanks, yeah I'd rather just get the threading done because its a bit cheaper. I'm at Colorado Springs right now, so would anyone know if there are gunsmiths that will do it?
