Is there a difference between pin on and screw on ones? Im getting a barrel that had a pin on muzzle break before and since its not threaded Ill probably get another pin on one? So will any work or is there different types? I was thinking this because of 1 cent shipping

Getting the barrel threaded will make the field wide open with options.

What won't work? This doesn't make sense. The previous poster suggested
having your barrel threaded (yes it can be done). That opens the door
to virtually any suppressor/brake out there. This would be worth
looking at if it hasn't already been threaded. Most of the time when people refer to a pin on brake (at least in the AR world, AK's are different) they are talking about a brake that has been threaded but in order to make permanent it is pinned, welded and refinished. Are you sure it had a slip on suppressor/brake previously? The Phantom you have pictured is a threaded brake as far as I can tell, most any threaded brake can be pinned once installed. ADCO is an excellent resource for information on this process. I think I would leave a post ban barrel alone if I couldn't justify having it threaded, I'm not a fan of slip ons.

Have Adco thread it.
