I was installing a new trigger guard to my lower and got the roll pin stuck... its almost all the way in, sticking out about as much as is needed to go thru to the other lobe of the "ear" any way to get it out? ive tried beating the heck out of it, but i dont think more force is the answer... the guard is pretty solid in there...but i dont want to leave it like it is.

Sounds like it just needs to be lined up with the hole in the opposite ear.  You can release the front detent to aid in alignment, but as always support the ears with a block.

If you need to take it out you can use a 3/32 punch from the opposite side.  Lay the receiver on a block with a hole for the roll pin to move into as you tap it out.
