I'm installing a 24" bull barrel onto a spare upper reciever i had and using a bushmaster free float hand guard.  the handguard is in two pieces the first acts as a barrel nut locking the barrel inot the reciever and then the actual handguard itself threads onto that.  My problem is that when everything is assembled i end up with the sling swivel at the top instead of the bottom.

Any suggestions on how to fix it?

Thanks

The short part that threads onto the upper receiver should have a small adjustment ring. You need to back that off about a 1/2 turn or so, then thread the actual tube on there. You will have to play with it a little to get to line up just right.

Hope that makes sense.

No problem.

That's what this place is for.
