this is trickier than calculus. anyway. are these barrels worth a crap? http://www.model1sales.com/item-detail.cfm?ID=BCAR16&storeid=1&image=bar16.gif&CFID=53262724&CFTOKEN=82653976
model 1 sales? anyway what are the em-4's they offer? and how would i know is the standard 16" c.a.r. barrel is a m4 style or is the em4 what they call an m4 style? another thing, i am assuming that the 16" barrels are not technically legal until you permanently attach a MB or a FH to it via SS or blind pinning it?? I want to build my own because of the challenge and since of accomplishment but I definitely want to abide by every single law in the book. |

they should be good for my first build, thanks guys, i can e-mail them about the feed ramps, now the 2nd question, the flash hider or muzzle brake needs to be permanently attached to be in compliance on the threaded 16" barrels? 16" is the minimum legal barrel length (Federal) for a rifle without an SBR stamp. If the barrel itself is 16" then there is no Federal requirement for a pemanent flash hider. Your state law may restrict things such as threaded barrels. Since you haven't listed a state we can't give you a definitive answer. |
