For anyone who has an order with Del-ton. Spoke to them yesterday to change my cc and they said they are working on orders from Jan 19-20. I hope you guys are having as hard a time waiting as me!

not really, my buddies are buying parts left and right from PKfirearms and Bravo company to build rifles, the kit companies seem to be having a rough time even though the manufactures are catching up, i have a buddy that has been waiting on J&T 6 months now

I placed an order with Del-Ton in mid-April...today was 16 weeks since my order...

Glad I cancelled and bought a rifle kit from M&A...received it in 8 days and has been great...top-notch quality and service.

I placed an order in November 2008. Received it last week of July 2009. Calibrate that 8-month wait...

I feel your pain brother. I have three mid-legnth carbines on order. The first was ordered in early March. I'll be patient and wait on Del-ton because I like their products. Some things are just worth the wait.

I have a kit ordered at Model 1 Sales in April 18 of this year. I will see it sometime in Oct. I hope. All the vendors have about the same wait time.

I ordered my mid length custom last week and I'm trying to figure up the time here. Probably April of 2010? Yikes, I hope AR's are still legal then!

I think at this point it's pointless to wait on these mfgers. I just put a gun together from parts and it took me a week to source everything and have them shipped to me.

I had an order for some p-mags from del-ton from nov that i canceled in april. I wasn't going to keep waiting on pmags from them when I can go down the street and buy as many as i want for $1 more.

Forget these guys, everyone should be caught up by now. Seems a little rediculous. I see rifles, uppers, barrels, and bolt carriers in stock EVERYWHERE.

I don't know if it is just for Dealers, but I ordered a few of the lowers and they are on the way. Ordered them on the 12 of August and they would have shipped sooner if I had not screwed up the billing address.

i agree with this, parts are everywhere and gun shops are starting to get AR's, they even advertise them in stock in Augusta now.

Del-ton is a good company but I canceled my order and built a rifle sourced from 3 or 4 vendors. It cost a little more in both parts and Shipping
but I'm not waiting / hoping for Christmas.
