Does anybody have any experience with these?  I plan on putting on a PRS on another build, so I wanted to have something different for this one.  Are these pretty comfortable to shoot?  They look like a pretty comfortable stock for longer range.

Wow , that thing is expensive. A buddy of mine decked his AR in CAA stuff and I was not impressed at all, so I would be hesitant if it was me.

I have the CAA CBS CAR 6 pos stock with cheek rest. I think its cheap and flimsy feeling and would not recommend it. The company does well as far as service and support but their products just are not the level of quality I want my money spent on.

Recently bought a rail accessory and it was total garbage. I felt totally embarrassed as it was going on a LE weapon and I know that at least one of their Products that they sell for $43.00 is air soft and can be bought for $12.00 on Flebay. As the saying goes once bitten twice shy and I will  never use their product ever again their products should be filled under B for Bin.

I handled one at a gun show and they feel like total garbage. All of the adjustable bits move around when locked down and they are a very busy design in my opinion. More stuff to break. I couldn't believe what they were trying to charge for them.

I've seen CAA stuff break under very light stress.

I say "NO GO."

(I do like their two point slings though)

I take it you guys don't like CAA?  What would be another choice for me?  This will be for short to long range, and everything in between.  This will serve double duty as a bench and carry gun.  I plan on building a .243 WSSM with a 20" barrel for coyotes and some benchwork.  My long shot will probably be no more than 500 yards or so.

If that's the style stock you want, get a Magpul PRS.  Better quality and cheaper.  Though I'm not sure if black is available yet, so you might have to wait a bit on that if you don't have a OD or FDE build going.

I would say go with the PRS. That is what I ended up with, I looked at the CA stock but really like Magpul products for their durability and they stand behind everything.

What makes the LMT Sopmod so expensive?

I went with the CBS on my middy build and counldn't be happier.  I thought I'd be getting the same quality in their sniper stock.I went with the one without the monopod (cost).  It was a pain in the ass to install; basically, I had to disassemble the back end.  While it is very comfortable, the cheekrest is not as sturdy as I would like when it is extended forward.  For the price, I expected more.  I went with this over the PRS because I wanted the option of collapsability and the extendable cheekrest.

They dont have to be that spendy, I sell them on the new EE for under $300 shipped.
As for quality I have sent MANY CBS stocks and many other CAA items to our troops overseas and I have never had a return or complaint.  In fact I get many repeat sales.

By what you want that fits your price range and needs and remember that CAA has a Lifetime Warranty.

What about the Magpul UBR?  It looks like a guy could get a pretty good cheek weld off of this one, and it is in about the same price range.

CAA claims "made in Israel", but i've seen the "Made in China" label on some of their parts that they apparently forgot to remove.

No go for CAA stuff, especially their SRS stocks.  Wayyyy too expensive for what it is.

That's true but you still getting a quality stock that is very tight and functions just like a m4 stock with a really nice cheek weld.

All companies must leave on the country or manufacture stickers.

CAA makes most everything in Israel.

Just a few items are made in China and they are marked and priced as such.  A few examples are the 30mm scope mount, carry handle, and a few other are made in China where the rest are made in Israel, such as their rail systems, stocks, grips, slings etc.

All of their items are covered by their lifetime warranty.

I am a CAA dealer on the boards if you are interested in a CAA item and what to know where it is made before you buy just let me know.

Yeah, that's what I'm leaning towards.  I didn't even know they existed up until a few weeks ago.
