I have assembled two with DPMS parts kits, one with Rock River and one with a Stag arms parts kit. No problems that I or my friends have noticed with several builds between us. Great lowers and uppers, especially the forward assist upper. Not sure of any specific problems with Sundevil products. Research the metal strength debate and decide for yourself (i.e. 6061 vs 7075 aluminum). Check the link below for a quick blog about this debate, but as I said before, research and form your own opinion. Hope this helps.

I love my Sun Devil lower.  I have a Rock River LPK in mine and it is great.  If you go to Sun Devil's website they address some of the concerns you may have.  I highly recommend them.

I used Armalite LPKs in mine. No problems.

Some lowers may need larger trigger/hammer pins, .1555 pins if that matters.

I don't know if this will help:
