As a longtime gun collector, and shooter, I think I may be comming down with Black Gun Disease.  My son, and I bought a
RRA CAR-15 in January.  We have had a good time shooting the AR.  We went to the JAX gunshow this weekend, and made
a couple of purchases.  1) a Rossi Youth Trifecta. and 2) a stripped Tactical Machining, Multi AR lower.

I have wacthed the "build it Yourself" section of this forum, and everyones advice is;a lower is a lower.  Well, I paid $96 + tax and fees for my TM stripped lower.
I look forward to my build, not sure what caliber yet.  The TM lower seems to be of very good quality, and it is a local FL company.  See link below:

Any advice for potiental builds or advice is welcome.

I was at the same show and also purchased a TM lower. A friend of mine has a shop next door to those folks and speaks highly of their workmanship. Good enough for me! It's sitting on my desk next to my ArmaLite AR-10 lower; kind of like a 'big block, small block' sort of thing!

Been building a lot of AR's lately for customers and with hand on heart I have no problems recommending  them to anybody. They are one of the best finished and machined lowers out there. Magpul's fall free from the magwell easily unlike a few other manufactures out there and the inside of the mag well is as smooth as a baby's butt. no rippling here unlike some that you will find if the magwell is broached out and not EDM'd.

I finally got all my parts to finish my TM lower, put it together last night.
I have another AR, I took my RRA upper on the TM complete lower, went to the range today.
100 + rounds with not 1, issue, other than too much lube...my bad.

The lower assemble went well.  I used a TAPCO 6 pos stock, and a SS LPK from AIM.
Not sure what type of upper I will build yet, I am very please with the TM lower.

Saw some of your lowers today at the Suncost show - very nice work at a great price.    I heard you guys are goingt to carry barrels pretty soon. Is this correct ?

Really?  They're at the Tampa Suncoast Show this weekend?  I was there picking up stuff from Spike's Tactical (they were great and brought my order to the show for me).  Would love to have met Jim after exchanging a couple emails with him.  And being able to check out the goods first hand would be really nice.

Guess I'm going back to the show tomorrow if I get up in time after work tonight. lol

p.s. Where were their tables?  Left or right of Shoot Straight from the entrance?

I had several lower forgings that at one time I intended to machine out myself, but as teenage daughters tend to do, family comes first and I wasn't able to justify the purchase of the necessary machine tools & jigs.

So, I contacted Jim at Tactical Machining.  He answered right away with a great price, and off the forgings went to him.  The day after my check cleared the bank, he had them machined out to 100% and anodized, as well as boxed up for shipping to my FFL.  WOW!

Not only did I get sequential serial numbers across ALL of the lowers, but got the caliber markings I requested as well: 6.8 SPC, 7.62x39mm, and MultiCal.  How cool is that!!!  Now my 6.8 & 7.62x39 upper receivers can have dedicated lowers with proper caliber markings.

The lowers are FLAWLESS!  I had the same great fit & performance from them that other posters above have had.

Jim was absolutely fantastic, as well as the other employees in his shop I talked with.  Can't beat their customer & technical service; they'll take whatever time is necessary to answer your questions.  I can't believe that their prices are so low.

I will absolutely purchase more products from TM.
